George Painting recently completed a concrete epoxy coating project. Before starting the job, they carried out a thorough diagnostic of the surface to tailor the preparations to the job’s requirements. As the concrete slab was relatively new, minimal preparation was required, and the process unfolded seamlessly.

To ensure a pristine canvas for the coating, they carried out a thorough pressure wash and acid treatment. Any cracks were expertly addressed by opening them up using a V-segment blade and filling them with Avista Crack Repair Epoxy. After allowing enough time for curing, they meticulously ground the filling to an even finish.

What makes this project stand out is the collaborative decision-making with the client. Initially, the customer wanted a full-coverage flake, but later they preferred a partial-flake Terrazzo look. Without missing a beat, George Painting adapted and adjusted the finish to match the new preference. The result was a surface that not only met but exceeded the expectations.
